Stress, malnutrition, and being athletic will all play a role in when your period comes on. Also, you got half your genes from your dad too. When did his sisters or mom start? How about your mom's sisters and mother? what is true, is that women that are around eachother a lot sync-up, and get their periods around the same time. so it's very possible that you'll get your period around the same time of the month as your mother if you're around her a lot.
Sometimes that is true but not always. Every girl is different.
Most of the time it is but sometimes girls start at a different time than her mom
