Dont you agree? This Is One True Pregnant Teen Mom. Salutes to Her!?
Teen mother or not... a mother should take care of her child and do what is right regardless of what age you have them. She gets salutes for being a mother! not just a teen mother doing it. That's her job, she laid down and got pregnant..the responsible thing to do is to do what is right. This Is One True Pregnant Teen Mom. Salutes to Her!?
I think it's great that she went to the hospital and took care of herself and her son and didn't just dump the baby. no, i don't agree with teen pregnancies but i know it's going to happen, It's great also however that her mom is going to help out with the baby so her daughter can finish school,

What gets me is how teens hide their pregnancies...i think the moms need to get a clue and pay attention.....don't you notice she's not telling you she needs more sanitary napkins or that she's getting fatter.....i don't put teen pregnancies fully on the teen it takes the Parents AND the teen. The kid had no prenatal care or anything!!!!!
I don't feel the need to salute on this one. Yes I'm glad that she had the baby instead of using abortion as birth control or doing something stupid when the baby was born, but just having a baby without telling anyone, seeking no prenatal care for the baby, and risking her life and the life of that baby DOES NOT deserve a salute!
she still could have dialed 911

if you have a land line phone and it is hooked into the wall it is requiered by law to be able to get through to 911

as well as diconected cell phones. if a cell phone does not have service or a sim card (for those that use sim cards) it is still required by law to be able to call 911.

911 operators get many calls from toddlers playing with mommys old cell phone because mom was to dumb to realize even though the phone is disconected that 911 can still be called!

good grief i can understand if they didn't even have the physical phone but just because the line was disconnected oy.

this info hits the news and paper all the time hell when you try to make a call (non emergency) from a disconnected phone it will tell you to call the phone company to reconnect the service or if it is an emergency to hang up and dial 911!

thank god she and the baby are okay, thank god she was smart enought to sit down and push baby out and wrap it.

it is a testiment to how sturdy the most fragile things really are!
actually i was discussing this with my friend before. he and i both think it was pretty selfish that she didnt tell her mother she was pregnant...THE WHOLE time, that couldve put her baby in danger. im sure if she wouldve told her family that she wouldve wound up giving birth in the hospital.

that baby couldve died.
i think its great that she didn't kill her baby if thats what your asking. but I'm concerned for the baby, they don't even have a phone to call 911, do they have food, money for diapers things like that. I don't salute any teenager that carelessly has unprotected sex and gets preg and can't support their baby on their own. we will wind up paying for her and her child with our tax money in welfare.
she took quick action, which was good. but i think she should have gone to a close neighbors house and asked them to call 911. but what she did was still good. and she didnt throw it away like those sad stories we hear.
Salute her -- NO. Another ill equipped teen raising a child. No telephone how can they afford a child -- oh wait another welfare check!
Yes. I agree with you. And the so-called nurse who answered above me does not need to be in this line of work.
Yeah I read this on my local news outlet. Its a great story.
Wow. That's crazy! Glad it all worked out for her.
Kudos to her!!!
Wow, what an amazing girl x
im not sure about saluting her not like we need another teen mom who cant take care of her kid but least she went to the hospital I seent younger girls have children do better heroic things. we should praise her just because she didnt throw her baby in the garbage
